Taxi!! Green Cab?
June 28, 2007 - News

It's been raining a bit recently and to be honest even we take a squint at yet more dismal weather and think 'wish I wasn't cycling home' as thoughts of soggy bums and wet hair cloud our best intentions, but now help is at hand.

Climatecars is the latest in a handful of greener taxi firms operating a fleet of Toyota Prius's in London and as well as the usual taxi services they offer a bicycle rescue service for those moments when you'd rather not (or are too, ahem, oiled to manage to) cycle home, each car coming equipped with a bike rack.

Want more? Well Climatecars offer a choice of magazines, newspapers and clear-conscience Belu bottled water to help you pass the time. The firm promise carbon neutrality being via a deal with the Carbon Neutral company whilst their drivers, we are told, are punctual and courteous.

Lovely.
